Just know that opposing fans will see your posts and copy them as an example of how stupid ISU fans are, so thanks for that, I guess.

They'll be the stupid ones, because I'm right. Can you tell me why this isn't a crime? An intentional act of violence meant to injure. Definition: With the intent to cause physical injury, actually causing such injury to another person.

Did Woodberry mean to do it? Did it cause injury? Sure looked like it to me.

Straight from CAPPAA (specializing in athlete abuse, etc.)

Flagrant Basketball Fouls are assaults by assailants on unsuspecting, vulnerable, defenseless victims. When serious injuries result from Flagrant Basketball Fouls criminal charges and personal injury claims can be brought against the assailant. Coaches and Athletes can be fired and dismissed from the team for just cause.

Here's one of many examples.

One example

One of many huh? That article is full of quotes from people who claim to have never seen criminal charges steaming from a sporting event. Furthermore, that article clearly states the guy was already in trouble with the law, which is partially why he is in prison.

Anyways, please find me another of your "many" examples

Why does cyclone fanatic continue to worry about Iowa and their players? That is why everyone considers u guys "little brother". You guys have a way better team and iowa will be lucky to make it into the tournament. I root for isu unless they play iowa. You come on this board and almost guarantee one of the top 5 threads has something to do with iowa. You have an awesome team, cheer them on!

You asked for one, I gave you one. You want more examples from sporting events? I'll give you some. Here's a link to 15 different occasions. How many do you need?

Link

Also, there was a guy that played for the Broncos that got hit flagrantly that sued and won. Again, lots of examples. I don't have them bookmarked, but Google does.

There were no serious injuries in any of the three incidents. To suggest that he should be arrested is just ridiculously stupid.

They don't have to be serious injuries to be a crime, just a deliberate attempt. My wife explained it to me. She works in criminal law and knows her stuff.

OK so in cases of serious injury or death, sure. First of all, no one would ever be able to prove Woodbury did this intentionally. Second, no one was hurt or killed.

Doesn't have to be serious injury or death. Just has to be intentional. Also, 3 accidents in 2 weeks are enough to prove it's intentional.
