You can't make up how horrible Iowa handles PR.
This goes away if Fran just says he misunderstood Admire and thought he was asking about the refs. Maybe tell a joke about how he knows personally that taking about the refs hits his pocketbook.
Then say he's watched the film, knows Adam very well and Adam would never do this on purpose. Close with saying he'll talk with Adam and coach him to keep his hands a little higher.
Instead he stays on the defensive and he gets called a bully on PTI. Congrats.

It's funny how Iowa State fans on a message board are smarter at PR than the well paid Iowa MBB coach.

Apparently CFM added another level of derp tonight on his call-in show. I don't remember the exact words but he ranted about a reporter trying to make him compromise his position or baiting him to talk about the refs or something like that. He also alluded to the reporter being out of his depth, and not belonging in the presser. The reporter was of course Michael Admire, who asked him about Woodbury's eye poking at the post game. He is just digging his hole deeper, isn't he?
