Is this a trap game for.us Saturday? After two hard fought victories at home & Texas coming in for.Big Monday next week it would be easy to lose focus. I know Tech is.winless in the league.but are they that bad? They play at Okie St tonite which should be another loss. I'm not sure what to make of this game Saturday.

I'm more afraid we blow them out and then not be prepared for UT on Monday...

I am sure Sukup is a louder place to play than that dump. Hard to get up for an 0-6 team that has minimal support. That being said hopefully our guys make a point to kick their *** so that the other guys get some much needed work.

YES. More nervous about this one than I was about Kansas State, as irrational as that may sound.

They are that bad (really really bad offensively), but they could still knock off one of the "big boys" if they go into Lubbock unprepared.

I like think that since we're #1 in the conference, our guys are much more focused and not taking any game for granted. Right now, we have the largest target on our backs as we're also the highest ranked in the country as well. These kids need to make sure that they stay hungry because every team is going to give them their best shot. That's the way it works at the top.

I see a maturity level with this team that won't allow that to happen. They've learned a bit from the Maryland loss and the South Carolina loss. TT is not good, and if we play with any kind of intensity, it should be a 20 point win.

Since it's a road game in a mausoleum, I'd say it should be a 12 point win.
No matter what, it'll have ugly stretches, and we won't be totally satisfied, but it's a win unless we completely lay an egg.

I don't think its a trap game but its just as important as the KU game at home. Really, really need conference road wins to win the conference title.

These are the games that if we don't win, we can kiss a chance at a conference title goodbye.

I think you could consider it a trap game. I mentioned this last year, and some poster stated that conference opponents are not considered to be a "trap game" opponent. Ridiculous-

Ugh, this game has danger written all over it. This is just an absolute must win if we are going to win the league. You just can't give away a game with TTU. That said, it is a game against a bottom feeder opponent in an awful atmosphere on the road, so it would be easy to come out flat. Especially coming off of big wins against KU and KSU and having UT on big Monday looming. I don't see us winning this as easily as we should, but I do think we bring home a W.

It is a textbook trap game, but I dont think this team/Hoiberg will allow it to happen.
