Any chance we move Kane Seeley and Alton Meeks to defensive line next year?? They both appear to have the body to put on weight and a wrestling background that would help them. I am not sure either one of them have the foot speed to play linebacker at a high level in the Big 12, but both could be quick big defensive lineman IMO.

Yeah, let's move our two odds on favorites to start at LB to the Dline where we have a ton of guys already, especially with the new guys coming in.

Meeks will most likely move to the middle to replace Miller. I think he is actually a better athlete than Miller, but struggled with being in the right place at the right time. Something that has plagued the LB corp at times the past two years.

Both guys looked atrocious at linebacker in North Dakota St game. They need to approve A BUNCH to be even competitive in the Big 12.

I wouldn't be surprised if they move Brandon Mills to middle linebacker, I have heard great things about him.

You're right. Actually, everyone looked atrocious in that game. Let's move everyone around. To make it easy, let's switch Sam Rs. Let's just sway the Oline to Dline and add half the linebackers also to the Dline. Move all RBs to Safety. Safties go to WR and those hybrid LB types can be RBs. Our WRs can be CBs but I don't know if that's a big enough change to really be effective. Lazard and Montgomery should get on a weight gaining program so we can move them to DE. Netten is now the holder. Kramer the punter and I would actually like to see Burton be the place kicker.

Since this is in the off-topic forum, lets talk about cheese. Whats your favorite? Havarti? Italians? Cheddar? Lets hear about it.

Very snarky, nice job out of you too, I am sure you are feeling real proud of yourself... You act as if no one has ever changed positions before.. I am going to use Iowa as an example. You think Ferentz was crazy moving Dallas Clark to tight end, or Robert Gallery to left tackle, or Scott Chandler to tight end? Or how about moving Richard Sherman to cornerback. All of those moves were crazy! Sometimes people are playing the wrong position, there has been millions of examples over time.

This staff has shown an ability to move players when it sees fit. Brackens was moved from safety to nickelback, Mills came in as a nickelback and moved to WILL linebacker. Knott was a safety (high school quarterback) who they moved to WILL linebacker. Miller moved from WILL to MIKE, Meyers move from DE to DT, and Darius White moved from linebacker to to DE.

In saying all that, I don't picture either of those guys moving to the defensive line. The line should have some good depth next with Ayeni and Luna being back, a couple JUCOs coming in, and younger guys improving more.

On top of that I firmly believe Meeks will be an all-conference guy for us in the future. He's a darn good athlete and I think he'll prove to be pretty fast for his frame. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't picture Seeley as ever being a consistent starter here. He might be a candidate to move to defensive end but I don't see that happening unless there are injuries.

I'm sure you are going to suggest that I am proud of myself but I'm going to ask it anyway: What is Richard Sherman doing in your Iowa example?
