Figured I'd do something light and fun for Friday that takes our minds away from Football. What were your favorite NES games growing up? Any stories about the games that were your favorites? I'll get it started with one Christmas getting Double Dragon II and Ninja Gaiden II. I played those two games non-stop for weeks and weeks. A few others I fondly remember were Castlevania, Contra and SuperC, Bionic Commando, Jackal, and Blaster Master. Please share your favorites, and throw a few screenshots for nostalgia's sake!

So many of the NES games were completely impossible to beat. There's a list a mile long of games that you needed cheats + and emulator with saves to ever actually finish. (Looking at you Ninja Turtles).

Still love em though.

Obscure title I really enjoyed: Battle of Olympus. If you haven't tried it, it's worth it. The final battle was epic.

That game was hard, and it sucked. That level where you had to swim through all of the electric seaweed was the worst.

That level with the seaweed to deactivate those bombs was the worst. Anytime I got past it, I died pretty quickly on the rooftops level.
