to each their own. the group i go with hasn't been this excited about a tourney in a while. it's not just about the games. lots of other things going on that makes it such a great weekend. gonna be fun!

I agree. Honestly it seems like the team that has won the conference tourney the last few years was an early out in the NCAA tourney. Would hate to finish the year that way.

The only really bad scenario would be ISU losing on Thursday. That would suck for the ~3300 ticket holders that would be supporting ISU (and that is just from our ticket office, many more ISU fans will be there).

One things is for certain...a former Big 8 school will win the title. In the Big 12 history, only Big 8 schools have won.

Yea, BTW, I don't know if there is a separate thread on it -- but major props to JP!!! ISU ticket requests were overwhelming this year, and the AD and ticket office proactively worked with other schools to get their extra tickets (thx Baylor and tarp). So instead of awarding only our 1500 allocation, ISU secured 3,300 all-session tickets!!!!!!!

Also, anyone see the crappy attandence at UT last night for their Baylor game? Embarrassing for the team in second place.

Cold this week and next week. But one longer term forecast I saw indicated temperatures in the low 50's for the tourney, which is not awful.

But probably as accurate two weeks out as Kane's FT shooting.
