I feel like that is pretty cool but if everyone else knows coaches personally I guess I'm not really that cool.
My closest connection is my parents are friends with the guy who was the best man in McDermott's wedding.

McDermott's sister-in-law was my daughter's volleyball coach. His niece was a teammate.
I served Fred multiple Subway sandwiches while he was in HS and college. His GF as well. I assume that's now his wife but I swear she had dark hair. She was hot, whoever she was.
Fred dunked against me at State gym. In fact, about 2 of his HS teammates did as well. I did not return the favor.

Flame away if he chooses UNLV. I wouldnt be that upset with KU, UK or UNC just because of who they are. UNLV is a joke though and would warrent finger pointing but until its official there's no point.
