Re: Rashad Vaughn

Good to see this thread still chugging along. Should be able to get to page 200 by the time we tip off in Norman Saturday.

Page 200? I think we're already on page 513 from what I see.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Vaughn could be Kane with a better 3P shot and two inches.

I don't think he's going to bully people like Kane can - from what I've seen, he's not that physical. He's probably faster and a better athlete, and we'd see more Sportscsnter dunks, but he's not as much of a bull.

Hes an all around scorer, and will go great with monte if he joins

Not many are like Kane in that specific regard, so I suppose you are correct. Close enough in the sense RV would be used in a similar, all-over-the-court manner- he would be next year's Kane. Plus, Vaughn at 6'6" 200 with another year of growth and Hoiberg's coaching will be able to out-physical many SG/PGs. Maybe less bumping through guys and more dunking over.

Does Diante Garret ever come back for games or to meet up with the team or Fred? What about Tinsley?

Re: Rashad Vaughn

You do realize that Kane was third on someones player of the year rankings. Lets not compare a high schooler to someone that put up the stats he did tonight against a top 10 team.
No, comparing is fine. Equating may be a stretch, and no one has said Vaughn would be putting up better stats.

Then again, it is not unreasonable to think a freshman of Vaughn's level could have a great game against a top-10 team. Honestly, in Hoiberg's offense, I do not think Vaughn would be far off. There is a reason why he is likely a one-and-done. He is a better shooter, equal scorer, and has an all-around game.

Garret plays for the Jazz I'm pretty sure. I guess if they had an off day in Minnesota or something he might make a quick trip. Probably not possible with his schedule though. Tinsley just got waived in November so I guess he might. So far the people who have been back this year that I know of are Rahshon Clark and Royce White.
