Do not want Cutler. Too many character questions and he only seems to divide the locker room. QB has to bring it together, and Jay Cutler is not that and never will be that. Cutler will get signed by Al Davis, I can't see much else. I mean if the Bears are going to let him walk and hes the best qb they have had in 25 years? Yeah... he doesn't have what it takes to win it all.

Al Davis signing him to the zombie league?

I hope he stays in the division. As a Packers fan my friends and I always enjoyed watching him throw a game away and whine about it.
I don't ever remember a time where he has whined about his play.

The only time he has ever "whined" is when he found out his head coach in Denver preferred Matt Cassel over him. As it turns out, he was right for being ****** for someone wanting Cassel over him.

This whiny reputation Cutler has been given is unfair and unjust.

I just want a mainstay at the QB position! The Vikes haven't had that since Culpepper.

Sign me up sign me up sign me up. Jay Cutler has the physical tools to be a top 5 QB in the NFL. I know some other things he does are slightly lacking, but he would be a coup for a franchise with no answer at QB. He is far better than serviceable. The Bears will find that out if they let him go.

Signing a QB in FA like Cutler would be the biggest move since drafting Peterson. I don't care if he is careless sometimes he doesn't have to carry the offense with Adrian Peterson as the focal point. Couldn't be an easier spot to land in.

That said, no chance the Bears let Cutler go without franchising and trading him.

And I see people talking about how horrible the Vikings defense is, but the offense has put them in some very bad situations and it's pretty much the same defense that went 10-6 last year, and finished this season 4-3-1. I say either sign a FA QB or draft one early, and then use the rest of the picks on NT, MLB, CB, S, ect. Vikings are loaded on offense and on the offensive line.

The defense is not that far away. Not to mention we will no longer be using the "vaunted" Cover 2.

As somebody who likes to be entertained and has long since given up being emotionally involved in the Vikings success, I'd be all for Manziel. However, if you thought the college football media were a bunch of hypocritical pearl-clutchers over his antics, just wait until Sid Hartman and the rest of the humorless Minnesota sports media are covering him 24/7.

*I'd also be OK with Cutler and think that's probably a better move if you're trying to win games while AP is still on the team.

Is that link even legit? That's the only place I'm seeing anything about Cutler not resigning with the Bears.

Leave it to Clones21 to make a complete BS thread.

The source of the article is:

The Mark Block Agency. (Who?????????)
The Jay Cutler Foundation. (Seriously????)

Not crazy about his character, nor do I like his wagon wheel throwing motion on every throw, but in today's QB challenged NFL, the Bears would be nuts not to get a deal done with him. He's definitely better than anything Minnesota has right now.

Lots of stupid posts in here. Cutler isn't the one giving up 500 rushing yards every game.

This x1000. The Defense is the sole reason the Bears are sitting at home and not in the playoffs.

Mccown is a very solid back up but he is NOT as good as Cutler. The only game he looked really good at was the Dallas game against a D almost as bad as the Bears D. The Bears would be idiots to not re-sign Cutler this year after what Trestman was able to do in a season with him. Forte, Cutler, Jeffrey and Marshall are the pieces you need for a SB caliber offense.

Find it funny how people talk about character issues with Cutler and then bring up Manziel as a better alternative. This is just my opinion, but I could see Manziel as a huge flop in the NFL based on some of the decisions he makes.
