So According to Hawk logic Northwestern beat baylor by 20. So baylor beat Iowa by 20. = Northwestern is 40 pts better then the Hawks. Did I do that right?

Not quite.

Northwestern beat Baylor by 20. Baylor beat Iowa by 20. Mrs. Lippy's car is green. Iowa lost to Nebraska. Iowa only beat Penn State by three points. Minnesota beat Indiana. Iowa beat Minnesota. = Iowa is Big 10 champs next year.

Something like that.

So, a question. I am very biased as I enjoyed watching Iowa lose.

Someone on my facebook feed, posted about Baylor lacking class in the game and how basketball used to be classy. Did they excessively poor it on at the end? I thought maybe the last dunk was unnecessary, but it wasn't like they could dribble out 3 minutes straight.

Of course, my standards are pretty high since Kansas dunked the ball on us with less than 10 seconds left and our players already lining up for the handshakes.

Well, I had the game on, but I'll admit to being distracted by more entertaining activities, like mopping, folding laundry, and posting here, so I didn't watch that closely, however...in the big 10, with their high culture, it's considered rude to score more than 70 points. It takes away from the beautiful defense of big 10 basketball.

The Walton kid from Baylor was running his mouth. Baylor was better off with him out of the game. I can see why Iowa wouldn't think much of Baylor's character. We've been on the same end of enough beat downs that I actually have some sympathy.

Walton acts like an idiot in almost every game. I'd dislike him more if he wasn't a liability for them. He played some decent D last night though.

Oh, right. I forgot Virginia and Maryland were terrible.

I also forgot that Iowa's close losses to MSU (twice), IU, @ Minny, @ UW can now be discarded.

This is Iowa's 3rd double digit loss of the season, and easily the second worst game they've played all year. No excuse, it happens. It's unfortunate that they finished the season with such a ****** shooting performance, but that's life. This is the type of game I was worried about from the get-go, because Baylor seemed to ratchet it up a notch at the end of the season.

it was Baylor's Super Bowl.

Actually, all stats were even except for one - FG%. Now, you could tell me that was because of Baylor's defense, but Iowa has done this in more than a few games this year. Also, Baylor's defense isn't that good. Iowa didn't play a great game tonight. Like I said, it happens. Baylor was definitely better tonight.

This stat isn't even either:

Pts off of turnovers Iowa 4 - BU 14.

And yes, that was driven by Baylor defense. Baylor got transition buckets off of turnovers which helped drive up their FG%.
