Hey we kept them from scoring 70 points !

Really, ISU did not play that bad, Kansas is just a great team ! I really believe the future looks bright !

With the exception of our last defensive series I thought they played really hard. Things will be very different the next time Chizik takes his team down there.

I agree about the future being bright, but disagree about the way we played today. We played like crap on both sides of the ball. The only thing that kept KU under 50 is the fact that ISU ran the ball a lot in the 2nd half. It's clear that ISU's coaches were trying to run out the clock in the fourth quarter. We had no chance to win this game.

We had few injuries this year. KU had a bunch of penalites. Mangino did not sweat. The comercials were short. The season ended. We will new unis. Nnall will keep us going. We can go recruit speed.

I agree. It just looked to me like we were overmatched, and KU did not make mistakes (barring our touchdown drive that they pretty much insisted we get). The effort seemed to be there, we made some good plays, they were just too much for us.

I wish KU the best. I hope in a few years we can be 11-0. They are a success story we should look up to.

You are correct sir!!!

The 'Clones were just way overmatched today. Also, here's hoping that next year there will be some passes that can hit an open, streaking WR in stride...

As for the defense, tackling, tackling, tackling...

Is that Cenex guy? If so, rep is on its way.

07 KU is what 05 ISU should have been. Same conference opponents and everything. Damn overtime games.

That ISU team is gone. This is a new beginning. Now is the time to get over our bumpy past and get focused. I cant wait for next few years to develop.

Other positives:

1) Our coaches aren't going anywhere coming off a 3-9 record. I think these guys are winners and will find a way to make things work. We need to stick with them like KU did for Mangino.

2) Our coaches can get a jump on recruiting. We still have a lot of needs to fill (kicker, DBs and a certain JUCO OL).

3) Special teams improved tremendously as the season went on. Brandtner is just a sophomore.

4) New unis will look awesome.

5) Easier schedule in 2008.

6) ISU fans are the best in the Big 12 North.

I didn't see much to be positive about tonight. I did against CU and KSU, but not in this game.
