I know there were people other than students on the field at that point but I would put the percentage of students down there north of 80%
Im a student, and know for a fact that that would be the worst possible song to play at a game. Would draw all the intensity out of the crowd.
This guy needs to pull the stick out of his ***** and focus on what's going on out on the field, not the pregame activities, or the fun stuff that ISU does during the game.
You had your time when your music was popular, and was played all the time. Well time goes by and things change. This is what's enjoyable now, so stop F-ing whining about it and Cheer on the cyclones!
If the team keeps pounding teams like they did against Texas Tech, I say they can play all of the s*** music that is in vogue today in the pregame. Lay another egg like Texas or Misery, make 'em warm up to Kenny G and John Denver. Maybe some Kenny Rogers... If that's not incentive to win more football games, I don't know what is.

I'm in the drumline and it is so cool to look up and see the whole student section doing Cowbell...If it spread to the whole stadium it would be amazing.
Also playing cowbell on the field after the Iowa game was an Amazing moment!
I was channel surfing Saturday afternoon between various ballgames and I think at the end of the 3rd quarter of the MN/IA game the Gophers were playing Sweet Caroline - maybe IA has problems with that song too?!
This should be done at the end of the 3rd quarter and send some students to the west stands and teach/lead us in how to do this - very cool and unique to ISU.

Hadn't seen that video, but it would be amazing to get the whole stadium doing it. During games, it's look great from my seat when the students get after it!
Again, all of you that hate Sweet Caroline - it's a lost cause. As long as we're winning, it'll be played between the third and the fourth, because students love it and it looks very impressive.
