I went crazy on the "horse collar" call on us and the lack of a horse collar call on Texas on the next drive. I was also amazed at some of the holding calls that were called on us but by that time I was in so much shock that I just sat there wondering WTH was happening.

Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and call myself out for the horsecollar nonsense as well. I understand why we were called for it, but the Texas DB made the same exact play and was not called for it. I went berzerk, but I wasn't the only one.

I also went crazy when Leonard made his bonehead penalty. I was screaming for Rhoads to send him to the locker room. I guess the reason I probably stood out in my little area of Section B is because no one else saw it as it was happening and I started yelling right as LJ went to get into Shipley's face, even before the head-butt. Blargh.

I think I may have made threats to the refs that I would slash their tires during the drive where they were poised to keep us out of the endzone, and making sure Texas wasnt getting any calls for them wrong....

I do not regret saying that...

The Latt was laying into LJ one the sideline; I was wanting Latt to punch him for being a complete moron.

Yeah I called for a screen on one of those refs which was a bit embarrassing but in all honesty they needed a knock in the head. Several fans in the endzone were going absolutely bezerk. Also saw a couple of items thrown onto the field by the student section. It was absolutely unreal what all went wrong last night.

I saw that as well, I had the seats right behind them and Latt was saying to him "That was Selfish" "That was selfish". LJ is a senior and that play was similar to the one he had at UNLV where he got ejected... Should not have happened.

So he was a squawk fan wearing burnt orange trying to dis on the Cyclones

He was originally from Texas (in his youth I believe) but moved to Iowa. Wouldn't stop doing the gay Longhorn hand signal. There was also a Texas fan a few rows down from me that stood on the bleachers and started mocking us after the holding call when James White took that run for a TD. He then pulled at an Iowa State fan's hat and thats when I told him to, "Sit the **** down you piece of ****." He seemed to be heavily intoxicated. Was anyone on here sitting in the endzone and happened to see that?

Like Latt has a lot of room to talk. Several personal fouls last year and after all the off the field issues he pry shouldn't be the one lecturing someone.

I was by a guy and he got a text from his friend that was a Hawk fan and it said, "ISU is going to ruin Iowa's BCS chances with a loss".

not really funny but isu fans throwing food and yelling at texas fans who were standing in section L then an usher came and talked to the texas fans and they either left or got kicked out...just becuase they were standing...really? There were 5 cyclone fans that were standing in front of me for most of the game and no one made a peep about them?

They aren't the smartest bunch in the world. If we lost to Texas 37-14, then what would Iowa lose to them by? Maybe 48-10 or something? Us losing does not make Iowa look better.
The comparing games thing doesn't work, it never has worked. Each game situation is different, teams get better or worse as the season goes along. One team beating a team that another team loses to means very little.

Yeah. Looking to the sidelines mostly has upside. Gives Herman more time to read the defense and re-call a play.

Yeah because giving Herman extra time really matters half the time. He could have five minutes and it wouldn't matter, the defense would still know what he's going to call

I heard a lot of pumped up fans in the stands before and during the first quarter, including myself. I had nearly lost my voice by game time. I heard a few choice words for the officials.

I spent the second half in the parking lot drinking and kicking beer cans through makeshift uprights with a couple buddies.

Some ISU fan in the student lots told a Texas fan, "I don't like Texas that much, Deloss Dodds is a cheap old man."
