With the nfl lockout over, what do you think the chances of Lamaak, A-rob, Franklin, and D-sims being signed by a team?

For what it's worth Scouts Inc. via ESPN has Sims listed as #19 in the top 40 undrafted free agents.
The link requires an insider account.. but the only thing it says about Sims is stuff you probably already know.

Scouts Inc. breaks down the top 40 undrafted free agents - ESPN
19. David Sims, S, Iowa State (49)
Sims is undersized and older than most prospects, but he shows good instincts, adequate range and coverage, and a willingness to mix it up against the run and on special teams.

My guess is no. 3 of them will probably get invites to camp, but I dont think any will sign.

I just saw James Rogers from Michigan got signed. If he got signed and Sims doesn't then the FBI should be looking into it.

I would think Franklin would go somewhere. Always thought he was pretty good. I could see Sims on some special teams duty with his speed. As for the others, I would guess not.

I'll be honest, I was hoping the Bears would have signed Ryan Donahue (P, Iowa) since they're not bringing back Brad Maynard.

If Franklin doesn't get a shot with somebody, I would be very suprised.

I think that a lot of the players will be in camps. With the new salary cap, teams are going to be looking for a ton of UFA's to fill out their camp roster. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Sims, Lamaak, ARob, Franklin and O'Connell get camp invites. As to who really makes a team? Just IMO Franklin is a lock. He is a VERY good TE and it's a crime that he wasn't drafted. Sims may catch on for special teams more than anything...not sure what the Giants have for Safeties. Lamaak MAYBE, but he's going to have to tear it up in camp.
