The greatest game in the series was a night game...
We played one night game at home and one night game away during our 5 game winning streak over Iowa. The night game at home was before they put the new permanent lights in IIRC.

I always forget about the time of kickoff of that game. I was so sick with the flu, I missed the game. I puked all through the 1st quarter and slept through the last 3 quarters.2002, Iowa City - 5:00 espn2
How bad is traffic @ 4:30AM trying to get in from DSM? I went to Ames the night before in '09. Contemplating doing that again.
Two words.... TRAFFIC JAM.
I hate 11am games, period, but even worse for the iowa game due to how early you have to be in ames for that game. I know theyve said they dont like it at night, because of people drinking all day, but honestly, 11am just means everyone shows up earlier. I know i'll be in S4 at 5am to set up our tailgate.
At least UNI kicks off the season on a saturday night. Cant wait for that.
This. Students will have to be lined up at the gate at 930 to get decent seats at all for this and, as a student, that really sucks on a Saturday morning. I would much rather have a 230 startI hate morning games.
That's what I figured. Really detest dealing with that ****.
Question: Has ISU-UI ever been a night game?
That's the time the gates open. Have to be lined up by 8:30 at the latest to get a decent seat.This. Students will have to be lined up at the gate at 930 to get decent seats at all for this and, as a student, that really sucks on a Saturday morning. I would much rather have a 230 start
That's the benefit of having 11 of 12 BCS teams on the schedule. 11 games should be televised. So as of right now,
ESPN/ESPN2 - UCONN, Okie State
FSN - Iowa, K-State
FX - Oklahoma
You would think the Texas, Mizzou and A&M games will be on ABC, FSN or FX, maybe the Tech game too if they have a decent season
:yes:Just a reminder, this is the same slot and channel that the '09 Nebraska game and '10 Texas games were on.
