That is a shame, especially if they do end up plugging in a national show instead of a local replacement.
Someone over at HN had a suggestion as Cyclone Jerry and Tommy from Des Moines taking over. I would pay money to listen to the debut of that show.
I can't blame Jon for not wanting to get up that early each morning for the show. As a night person myself that would really suck getting up at 4:30am or whenever they do for a radio show that obviously doesn't pay great or else they'd keep doing it regardless.
Time for Hassel to get a show, I am sure Stivers would be more than glad to sponsor the show:spinny:

I thought the show was pretty good, but at times it got to be a little too much like the old Spike and Chester cartoons.

LOL. I like how Jon had to make his college picks before Steve because he actually didn't know anything outside of the Big 11 and Steve's knowledge was influencing his picks.
This. At least make it through football season so the suck doesn't start until January.
The new show is Chris William's for the taking, IMO. Only question is who will be his counterpart?
