Another Iowa shill with a boner for ISU's relegation to the MAC is off the air? Good. Now, if we could secure his absence from CF...

As Deace would say: That's a you problem.

This show was awesome.

That is a shame, especially if they do end up plugging in a national show instead of a local replacement.

Someone over at HN had a suggestion as Cyclone Jerry and Tommy from Des Moines taking over. I would pay money to listen to the debut of that show.

I can't blame Jon for not wanting to get up that early each morning for the show. As a night person myself that would really suck getting up at 4:30am or whenever they do for a radio show that obviously doesn't pay great or else they'd keep doing it regardless.

Heard Deace actually lost the show in taking the Clones to cover last weekend.

I thought the show was pretty good, but at times it got to be a little too much like the old Spike and Chester cartoons.

Jon: "Hey Steve! Who do you like this weekend, Steve? I like Seminoles, Steve! You like the Seminoles too, Steve? Good, cuz I like the Seminoles! How about Pitt, Steve? Do you like Pitt, Steve? I like Pitt, Steve. You don't like Pitt, Steve? Well then I don't like them either!"

Steve: "Shut up, Jon." //smack

Jon: "Ok, Steve, I'll shut up, Steve! I'll just shut right up, Steve! Close my mouth, and shut it on up, Steve! You know me, Steve! I know when to shut up! When someone tells me to shut up, you'd better believe I will shut up! Won't I, Steve?"

Steve: "Shut up, shuttin' up." //smack

Jon: "Steve is my hero. cuz he's so strong."

LOL. I like how Jon had to make his college picks before Steve because he actually didn't know anything outside of the Big 11 and Steve's knowledge was influencing his picks.

I personally think that sucks. They were the best by far in local radio.
This. At least make it through football season so the suck doesn't start until January. :(

It was annoying occasionally, nobody's perfect, but mostly a ton of college football talk which was fantasticabulous.

Does that mean you can be on this website more? Did Deace just want to go through the ISU game and then he ran out of material? Will C Willy and you run a show in the afternoon?

That sucks, enjoyed the show.

With the exception of giggles we were very lucky to have some good local shows. Lots of towns only get national shows piped in.
