Damn, that's too bad. I listened to the podcast just about every day. Even though I didn't really care for Jon's "I only really care about the hawks and the the things that affect them" attitude, overall it was a good show. DM sports radio is better with Deace on it.

My wish for the new morning show? CW and Blum. Probably too much to ask.

That sucks. I hope they don't go to Fox Sports in the mornings. It is dreadful. Over the past few shakeups at KXNO, they always have had people in the market to go after and get (Murph and Andy, Marty and Miller, Giggles from Omaha). Now, I can't think of any people that they could go after that people already know about around here (aside from CW). Perhaps they break up Giggles and Miller to move one of them to the morning slot and bring in new blood to co-host with them? I don't think either could do a show by themselves, their personalities seem dependent on someone else.

Here's my vote for Chris and Ken Miller to get a shot together.

While that would be awesome, there is no way that would happen. You would be putting 2 cyclones together. As much as we would all like to ignore EIU, you can garuntee that they will have someone with a Hawk slant on the show. Its common sense.

Best show in Des Moines by a WIDE margin. I will definitely miss it. I listened to their podcast everyday.

Im really going to miss the show.
There is no one that I know of who can even come close to replacing their show.
The key phase is, "that i know of". Maybe, just maybe, KXNO will get a duo from some distant market that will be just as good. I'm not holding my breath though.
Im sure KXNO isnt happy about this.
