Pretty incredible ending to that episode.. I was rating it about 7/10 until Dogen died and MiB storms the temple. "Catch a falling star" at the end was creepy indeed. Flocke looked pretty surprised to have Kate along... wonder why he wasn't expecting her?

And CycloneYoda, I'm going to ignore you from here to the end of the season. I know you say you don't read spoilers, but your intuition is going to ruin the end of the series for me! :jimlad:

Ha! Predicting the Death of Dogen wasn't too much of a stretch, for when a new character enters LOST on the final season, he isn't going to be around forever.

We all knew after last week that Smokey was going to the Temple.

And brother, there has many a time where I read something you post and bang my head on the wall screaming "HOW DID I NOT SEE THAT!!!!!!!."

Awesome episode. About to rewatch it right now before kid wakes up.

Ah, but he killed Dogan and the other dude in the Pool of Life. Does that mean they could come back?

Maybe Dogen, but I don't see Lennon coming around anymore.

I hope the give a bit more insight on why Smokey could only enter after Dogen was killed.

It was nice seeing Keamy again, if only for a brief time.

Well, technically Dogan had drowned Sayid in the pool and Sayid came back. So logic would make me think that Dogan is shown the same courtesy. I just dont believe that Sayid is full on dark.. I loved the look Locke gave Kate as she entered the group. Like uh oh.

Keamy is a ***** and Im glad he died..again.

In the end, Sayid will sacrifice his life for the greater good. I don't see him living when it is all said and done, but his death will not be in vain.

If you want to have some great in site to last night show, you might want to listen to the Miller and Deace podcast. It should be posted sometime today on the kxno site. They think they have the story figured out.

Agreed. I think quite a few Losties are going to take one for the team in the end.

I see Desmond's vision coming true. A chopper will take Claire, Sun & Jin away in the end, waving goodbye to Jack, Kate & Hurley, ala MASH. Sawyer I think is going to die along with Sayid.

I just got done reading the theories page linked above..it is amazing how basically our entire 45 minute Lost discussion today dealt with much of what the theory page was about as of 7:30am...the deal with the devil and what occurs...just means that there are a lot of people on this trail, and I think it's something that may come to bear.

Man oh Man. I loved the scene with Sayid and Keemie, what an ***-beater. Looks like I was wrong on losing Dogan....he gone!! I was a little disappointed that we didn't get very much in the way of mysteries revealed. It was more of just an action packed episode.

I'd say I don't think Ben will die next week even though the trailer foretold his "demise", but I was way wrong this week so I won't say anything!

The trailers for the show are a joke...I wouldn't put any stock into what they said about Ben. For the last 3 weeks the trailer has said something like "The time for questions is over. Here come the answers". Well not quite.

All in all it was another good episode.

"Jacob's offer to Dogen was a fair 'choice', and would hardly seem like a cruel deal with the devil. It is a fair deal, because Dogen himself caused the accident that killed his son (with his drunk driving). Even though he couldn't see his son ever again, at least his son would not have to pay for his mistake. "

This speaks volumes about Jacob. I just dont see Jacob being evil.

I think its funny how subtle character appearances are in this show. Seeing Jack at the hospital as Sayid walked down the hall was kinda funny.

Interesting, some guy brought this up. Funny how its a similar story to MIB

Elba

Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled by the Allied governments to Elba following his abdication at Fontainebleau and landed on the island on 4 May 1814.
He was allowed a personal escort of some 1000 men, a household staff and was even given the title Emperor of Elba and rule over its 110,000 people.
Bonaparte began his exile with a reform of the governmental system on the island, which is Italy's third biggest and lies just off the coast of Tuscany.
Soon, however, the former French emperor's thoughts turned towards Paris - now under the restored rule of the Bourbons - and he began to plan his return.
The time came faster than he imagined and only nine months later, on 26 February 1815, he escaped with his miniature army and landed in France. The 100 Days Campaign had begun.

You know I missed Jack on the first run and I don't know how, but I will rewatch it.
