Interesting, some guy brought this up. Funny how its a similar story to MIB

Elba

Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled by the Allied governments to Elba following his abdication at Fontainebleau and landed on the island on 4 May 1814.
He was allowed a personal escort of some 1000 men, a household staff and was even given the title Emperor of Elba and rule over its 110,000 people.
Bonaparte began his exile with a reform of the governmental system on the island, which is Italy's third biggest and lies just off the coast of Tuscany.
Soon, however, the former French emperor's thoughts turned towards Paris - now under the restored rule of the Bourbons - and he began to plan his return.
The time came faster than he imagined and only nine months later, on 26 February 1815, he escaped with his miniature army and landed in France. The 100 Days Campaign had begun.

Somebody brought that up because on the ABC website there is a sneak peak with Ben as a history teacher, and this is what he was talking about.

It really is funny what folks grab. Lost writers should go down in history for the crap they come up with.

Just watched this and thought it was a great episode. So, why does the MIB need all those people to follow him? Doesn't he just want to get off the island? What's the purpose since Jacob is dead?

Just rewatched and saw Jack. Yeah that was brief. And creepy song at the end --- even creepier ...maybe :) .

Thought I remember him saying he needs help getting off the island, but maybe that was before Jacob was killed.

In the end, Sayid will sacrifice his life for the greater good. I don't see him living when it is all said and done, but his death will not be in vain.

I agree. The whole episode is that "trouble finds Sayid." I think at the end he will make a sacrifice of his own life for the greater good too. (A little foreshadowing if you will in this episode for him.)

Is the song that Claire singing the same that she sang in season 4 when Kate woke up in the middle of the night to find CLaire hovered over Aaron and she told Kate to make sure he doesnt come back? Or did Kate sing it at one point? It seems very familiar.

Yes and yes. It is the lullaby that Claire remembers Christian singing to her and Kate and her both sing it.

When Claire was about to give up her baby in S1, she asked that the couple who was to adopt Aaron sing "Catch a Falling Star".

It was also playing on the mobile that the Others had put on the crib they had set aside for the baby.

In S5 when Kate is carrying Aaron into Cassidy's house, she is singing that song.

And of course, Claire was singing it in the hole.
