There were 2 or 3 points there when the pace (pun intended) got crazy that I definitely would have taken a timeout. With Tyrese and McConnell you do not want to track meet with this team, I don't care how much the Cavs score or how well they shoot, Indy runs better than anybody.
They better keep pushing pace. They aren’t getting looks in the half court right now.

its danger time for the cavs. pacers really have a chance to crush their spirit in this coming quarter.

Horrific coaching by Cavs "coach of the year" to not use a timeout as Pacers erased a 15 point deficit in first and the place got absolutely rocking. Complete momentum switch when Cavs came out swinging.

Who cares if it's 1Q, you have to protect a lead like that in a basically must win game.

SEC/Big10 Pushing for 16 Team Playoff

I think they will push harder for more control of the cfp bc this year we saw it almost be very different. The ACC got two in pretty easily, Miami would've been in if not for their loss at Syracuse. The Big 12 also had some fluky stuff happen. If KU doesn't go on the warpath, BYU, ISU and Colorado all would've been in the mix. Indiana having their run was good for the b1g but it mucked things up for the SEC teams.

The Big 12 just didn't have teams do what they needed to do this year or it would've been a multi bid league. The teams that get easy schedules, have to take advantage. The Big 12's teams didn't. If they had, it would've stolen another bid from one of those leagues.

The people who control things can obviously manipulate the process but this year it seemed like teams were rewarded for winning. The b1g and SEC were rewarded more but SMU got a bid for just taking care of business(ISU and BYU were in the mix for a long time). I think that made the SEC/B1G a bit nervous and want to be a bit more aggressive about auto bids. They dont' want to be vulnerable to those teams with an easy schedule.

This is why I want a formula to select teams. If G5 teams run the table because of cake walk schedules, the P2 conferences will be forced to schedule them to avoid losing playoff spots to them. The selection committee can write it off as a cakewalk schedule and convince the public that they don’t deserve a spot.
They won’t be forced to schedule them, G5 will get capped at 1 bid. They aren’t playing the same game as the P4.

Hard to force a schedule when you legit have to pay 6/7 figures for a ritual sacrifice game
