Pete's voice gives me chills!

I was in the student section. It was crazy that night! So much fun. I miss college.

My roommate was dating M.Wagner at the time. I saw him that night after the game. Needless to say, he was pretty excited.

Clone Fan - I edited the title of your thread to add (A new look at "The Run").

I've watched it three times now and e-mailed the link to my Cyclone peeps.

This is the perfect clip that many ISU fans have wanted to see..."The Run" with Pete making the call.

I was in the student section as well....but far too blistered to remember the play...I actually took a tumble down the steps at one point. Now I only have this video as memory of that game.

now I just sit in section 4 and dream of the old days accross the way....

I just remember during the play yelling,"Throw the ball away!" and then after he gained a few yards yelling, "Get out of bounds!" I'm glad he'd didn't listen to me.

I'm glad you have the stones to admit it. I, too, was screaming expert advice at Seneca on that play (and many others). Guess that's why my NFL career never panned out...

Just before that game my buddy and I were talking about Wallace and the heisman and how all heisman winners had a play or highlight that defined them. When that run happened we both looked at each other and both said, "there's the heisman highlight". What a memory. Alas, Oklahoma was just around the corner........

Hey, I found another Kenny Wilson run:

I know, Tommie gracefully dressed up as Kenny to make it look like they have some Red running backs.

umm....it obviously goes down as one of the greatest plays in cyclone football. But the more I see it the more it gets washed down. Sort of like seeing Buckner muff the ball, or listening to free bird.

I remember the crowd going OOOOHHHHH after Wagner's block every time they showed the replay.

Yup...they did.

Look for this to be replayed inside JTS this year and possibly with Pete Taylor's voice.

I've e-mailed Pollard a few times on a couple things and each time have mentioned how awesome it would be to see "The Run" and hear Pete make the call.

Maybe even right before kick-off of this year's Texas Tech game. :)
