The initial run is already sold out but more are on the way.

For the younger CFers, back in 1982 Ozzy was doing a concert at Vet's. Some kid tossed a dead bat onto the stage and Ozzy bit the head off of it. He had to go get rabies shots afterwards.
According to Ozzy he just assumed it was a rubber bat and he was just playing up to the crowd but with his drug addled mind back then I'm pretty sure his recollection isn't all that good.

On a somewhat unrelated note: I'm seeing Ozzy in June for the first time even though I've been a huge fan since the 80s. I'm pumped.
I worked one of his shows in the mid 90's. I had to find a doctor who would come in and give him his B12 shot for the show. It was amazing seeing a man who could barely walk around his dressing room go on stage and take total control of an audience. I can't imagine what he is like now.

Ozzy is awesome.....if you get a chance, watch the documentary "God Bless Ozzy Osbourne" which his son produced.....quite a good insight on the real Ozz....Sharon always has been a marketing genius.....

Saw Ozzy when he returned to Vets in (I believe) the early 2000's. Was a killer show, of course. IIRC, Mudvayne and Rob Zombie played too.

One of the only situations I can think of where it would make sense for people to be filming with their smart phones if they were around then.

We're seeing Ozzy (with Megadeth) for the first time for both in July and can't wait for that concert.

Aside from biting the head off of a bat - why would one bring a bat, let alone a dead one, to a concert?

The bat in Des Moines, however, was most certainly dead, closer to rancid, according to Mark Neal. He was 17 at the time he tossed the bat corpse on stage. Neal's younger brother had brought the bat home from school, alive and flapping, about two weeks before the concert. No surprise that the bat failed as a household pet. So Neal's friends, aware of Osbourne's carnivorous reputation, convinced the impressionable lad to seal the bat remains in a baggy and tuck them inside his coat.

Drugs are a beautiful thing. Especially in the 70's and 80's. Why does one snort ants? I read the article also and leave it to your imagination if the folks were flying high that night.

My biggest beef with Ozzy is that he started the whole Reality Show genre. He deserves some punishment for that.

MTV started real World in 1992 and Road Rules in 1995. Those were the real beginning of "reality TV" Big Brother started a year before Meet The Osbournes.
Yes. What really started the reality show trend was a writers strike. They needed to continue to make content and do it without writers so why not put stupid people in interesting situations and start filming. If it gets boring just throw a figurative snake in the room once in a while to liven things up.
