WWE starts its announcing of the Mae Young Classic participants in 5 minutes - Facebook or WWE's YouTube channel.
Kairi Sane (aka Kairi Hojo, for those that know anything about Japanese wrestling). NXT's latest female signee, and favorite to win the Mae Young Classic.
And the best freaking top rope elbow in the business ever.

First time I've ever seen that WM XX match between Goldberg and Lesnar. Wow that match sucked. All it was was rest holds and beef-on-beef stalemates. Best part of that match was Austin stunning both.

Rey Mysterio is under contract negotiations with both WWE and GFW.

First, I want nobody I've ever liked now or in the past anywhere near the dumpster fire known as GFW.
Second, Rey could add instant credibility to the Cruiserweight division and 205 Live, especially if his purpose is to put over the guys there.
Third, WWE has an inherent advantage in signing Rey, and not just in terms of money, but the PC - Rey's son Dominic is now in college and training to be a pro wrestler. If part of the deal is a PC contract for his son it would probably be very attractive for Rey.

We are coming up on 16 years of the invasion angle. Watched a few raws before and after the ppv and the invasion ppv. Could of been a great angle but ended up a big dud.
Apparently AAA had their very own "Montreal Screwjob" moment this weekend. Taya Valkyrie was AAA's Reina de Reinas (Queen of Queens) champion - until a "retired" Sexy Star returned from retirement to win the championship. Last year Sexy Star retired from pro wrestling to pursue a boxing career, but a few months ago she started wrestling with Shimmer, then she returned to AAA this weekend and they immediately slapped that championship onto her. It must have been handled extremely badly, because both Taya and Johnny Mundo (whom are engaged, BTW) left AAA - and possibly Lucha Underground.

However, in recent interviews both John and Taya have stated they're not interested. I'm not sure about the "Mom", but this seems like a Sandra/Denise Cosby situation. Whatever, I guess I wish them all the best. Weird spot, but I was hooked.
The only good thing about this era is that the women are actually portrayed as superstars and not divas. Everything else is a joke.
