Would TJ drop everything and take the ISU job if it came open?

Are you happy with where our program is right now? Especially looking at where we were when Prohm was hired vs where we are today?

I get that. But we've got 4 months of season left. Do we really have to spend 4 months talking about firing someone? Either support the team for 4 months and then ***** about firing Prohm or stop talking about the team at all.

I feel like people WANT to be miserable.

What's Prohm's buyout? Do you have the money to pay it? Didn't think so. Also, last I checked this is one hell of a freshman class. That said, can't deny his disappointing record. You got me there. As for football, it was an analogy of spoiled fans. You just proved that.
THT, Halliburton, Griffin and Conditt were a great class as well. They produced no NCAA tournament wins and only Conditt is left.

4 months? Many have been talking of firing him the day after he was hired.

Nah, I feel like people want a new coach because that's what it will take to get us at a respectable level again.

Way up there
TJ has done nothing at UNLV thus far to indicate he could be our savior. He won at South Dakota State with the previous regime's players, not to mention stud multiple year Summit League MVP, Mike Daum. I guess I'd hold off on saying let's throw the checkbook at him for now. We're better off with Prohm until Otz really separates himself.

No question he would take the job if offered.

The team that beat us last night was recruited and built by TJ.

Ah the ole "I am going to get involved in a thread about not being happy with the coach, to complain about people saying they aren't happy with the coach" move, nice.

Feel free to ignore these threads if you like, they will be here all season long.

Lol every year this crap happens. Even Fred had terrible let downs. People are so up in arms that we aren't undefeated at home, but Fred couldn't win on the road. I just think we are too manic as a fan base.
Prohm didn't win a road game at all last year or all of 2017-18.

Judging the product at game 2 is pretty silly. If the young core of the team seems to develop by year end I'll be happy.

So? Fred didn't win any his first year to my recollection. I'm working so I can't really stat hunt right now but Fred was not good on the road. I'll take a few home loses a year for a decent record on the road in conference.

If Fred was bad on the road, Prohm has been bader.

Yes I said bader.

This is game 2 of year 6.

59-51 over the last 3 years + the first 2 games this year. He is well on his way to making that record under .500. And that time period includes the 2018-19 team that was extremely talented but poorly managed and poorly coached, with a disappointing 9-9 record in the conference.

I don't know if Prohm can turn it around. The anemic start to the year has me very concerned. And yes, it's early, but it won't be getting easier any time soon. Losses like last night should be considered upsets for programs like ours. I had the feeling, while we were coming back from our 15 point deficit, that it would actually be an upset for South Dakota St if we managed to come all the way back. Not a great feeling. Prohm may need to be purged, and I'll reserve final judgement for the end of the season, but the man has had enough time to correct this.

And Fred never won in Lawrence.
We have a 14-13 conference record at Hilton over the last three years. I’m not sure how as a fanbase you look at that and say “No worries.”

I'm aware. That's why it is important for these young guys to grow together and set things up for a good 2021-22. Otherwise I'm sure we'll cut bait.
