I apologize.. I thought the meme of "Circle of suck" was wider spread than it apparently is. PAC12 was notorious for canniblaism, but at least twice, maybe 3 times in 13 years there was a completed chain of defeats in the members - here is an example

The Pac 12 Circle of Suck is COMPLETE! (self.CFB)

Arizona > Cal > Colorado > Oregon State > Utah > USC > Washington State > Arizona State > Stanford > Oregon > UCLA > Washington > Arizona
===========================
There seemed to be some of that insanity in the Big 12 this year, with some truly strange upsets involved.
That is ALL it was intended to be referencing - not an actual insult.

If I'm trying to be insulting, and mean it, it would be crystal clear. As a man who does his damndest to live GOlden Rule, I try to never ever go there. I hate being treated that way, so I try my hardest to not intentionally do it.

Unfortunately, your fellow Utah fans already ruined that opportunity for you. Right or wrong, they have tarnished our view of Utah fans in general among the Big12 fanbases. So you got a problem with how you’re being treated, take it up with them.

But, thank you for your service
Is truly fair to tar an entire fanbase because a few tryhard uber loudmouths decide to strut around? I am 150% certain Iowa State has some such troublemakers, as does every fanbase. In a medium where we cant see each others faces or hear vocal tones, it seems only fair to *try* and give newcomers the benefit of the doubt, and not judge from a perhaps accidentally badly worded post. It has happned to everyone at some point!

Those are the kind of people Kyle Whittingham would shun like the plague - and at least on our own fanrun boards Utefans.net, we try to reject such behavior from anyone.

For anyone who hasnt already tossed me in the garbage heap , I welcome you to visit. We've had some amazing times with Alabama fans, FLorida fans, heck -even Kansas fans back when we did a home and home series. Since al lthe terrible news about Pac12 dissolution broke, we've had a lot of visitors form about eveyr PAC fanbase save the infamous U$C douchebags, lamenting the loss of our interactions and such.

Yes, we're about to become athletic opponents regularly, but I know many of our fans are going to identify with the more down-to-earth fanbases like ISU.

It was truly wonderful to wander our major tailgate lots this year and always see a good number of opposing fans partying with us - I look forward to the day when I see that ISU logo on hats and jackets at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains! To be clear, in Salt Lake City - you can go to Provo, but there is understandably no tailgating of note there, with the whole no aocohol thing. LOL I'm sure their fanbase does *something* but Ive never heard about it.

Some of us prefer not to paint individuals with the same broad brush used to color entire groups.

Thank you for the explanation of the term. Might want to lead with it next time, or at least recognize that a share of your audience had no clue what you were referencing.

As for the disabled vet part - what was the reason for pulling that card?

When I saw this thread title I honestly thought it was Johnny Orr posting from his seat at the bar in the sky. Woooeeee Coach!!

Don’t let them get you down rangerone. Just because there are lots of delta bravos among Utah fans doesn’t mean you are one. Similar to how Gonzo and a couple other posters on this board have to work to overcome the general douchebaggery inherent among Hawkeye fans.

The reason was Clonehomer was an *******.
Roger Sprague, but spot on reference. This reads as though he spent time in a mental institute that his family told him was a nursing home.

I had a great time at the BYU game, lived in SLC for a bit. Over time I expect people to like the Utes more than the Cougars, but who really knows. CW probably won’t let it go, hah.

I’m still stuck at you partying at tailgates but not having any way to watch games at home.

He spoke, and he amended his comment. I give him high credit because he reconsidered his statement.

Why do I respect him for this alteration in his message? Because every one of us has said things on the spur and later gave our comment a critical analysis. I'll be damned if I haven't many times.

It's possible you posted your remark before our brother explained himself. Hell, that's a function of message boards.

Wish you good Utah guys a hand and welcome you to the Big 12.
