Way up there
I'm looking forward to this game, Anderson will find out really quick Hilton is a much different place with Fred on the bench than it was with Chewy. Should be a high scoring game, I always like the way Anderson's teams played at Mizzou.

Whiskey River is great but I love Olde Main and if your not from around here is always a spot that I tell people to go to. Dinky wheat with an orange anyone?

Yeah if we press a lot we're gonna give up a ton of points but we'll also force turnovers and score some points off of turnovers.

I predict an ISU victory along the lines of 92-85. It's a game that we could win but we'll have to play very well on the road in a tough environment. I think y'all could beat us two out of three in Ames this year.

Either way it'll be a fun game and good for both teams in terms of RPI. We won't be ranked coming into the game probably but there's a good chance we will be by late January.

FWIW we also play Wake Forrest, Clemson, Iona, Dayton, and SMU in non conference.

Thats really not the key to beating isu. The key to beating isu is being able to handle the match ups. Isu will spread you out and then pick on the weak link. Usually thats the guy trying to play niang.

Niang goes by or dishes to shooters setting up for three. This doesnt sound that difficult to stop but it is.

If you can't slow niang down, you have no shot... end of story. Thats why the uconn game was such a different game... their bigs could stay in the paint and play help defense.

Our own biases obviously play into our predictions. Maybe the truth is somewhere in between. I truly believe that we're returning enough talent and adding enough talent in Mike's fourth season that there is not a team in America that could beat us 9/10 in any building. We are not the most consistent team in America but we did beat Kentucky at Rupp and Bud Walton last year and this team is going to be better than we were last year.

On the flip side, maybe I'm a homer that lives in an Arkansas bubble. It's hard to say until the season starts. And I admittedly know nothing about your new guys.

Either way, it can't get here soon enough. Especially since football season is going to be a struggle in all likelihood.

We don't lose in Hilton, unless your name is KU, we beat you 10/10 times in Hilton.

Not being a **** BTW.

I would love it if Arkansas has a great season, but of course loses in Hilton. SOS is so important in seeding so it's a nice win for either team's resume.
