Derek has also been through a lot off the field. Give this video a watch—I’m sure you’ll appreciate him even more!

Thanks for posting. Sad to lose your father at such a young age. Hope he finds love and support here at ISU among his teammates.

Glad to have him as a Cyclone! Welcome to the Family!

Yeah Arrowhead produces a lot of talent; I used to live near there. It’s lake country outside of Milwaukee. That school is well funded.

Garrett Sexton is the third of the ‘24 Arrowhead trio. Now at Penn State. Just gonna say, entirely apropos to nothing, that I wouldn’t mind if these guys got the band back together.

Er…there’s a Wisconsin reference somewhere in there, which seems entirely fitting.

I think we’re already at 90? CMC was supposed to be talking with Jamie about how far we could go.
Lost a couple walk ons to the portal today. A backup long snapper and an offensive lineman. I’m sure we will see more walk ons in the portal to get the roster down to 105

Former four star (Rivals) OT. Redshirt freshman. Looks like a mauler. Clanton likes those.

Was teammate of DL Jace Gilbert.
Gives me a chuckle imagining the kicker Jace Gilbert getting called into CMC's office, being told he needs to put on another human of weight because he's been switched to D line.

Impressed by the way this staff worked here. Lose 2 underclassmen OLs that were likely to be in the 2 deep? Immediately replace them with 2 underclassmen OLs that are likely to be in the two deep. Guys they recruited prior with connections already on the team. Plus, we were light on tackle depth and heavier on the interior depth. Now we have 2 OT types to even it out a little.

Possible to be in the two deep. Definitely not “likely”, especially whenever Hasert is healthy.

I was just thinking the same thing about the shift in focus. Not completely sure both stay at OT, but at least there is more positional flexibility.

Plus, there are some intriguing OT prospects visiting in June, and there’s enough class separation not to affect ‘26 recruits.

Yeah you’re probably right. I’d be absolutely shocked if they weren’t in the 3 deep though. Tackle depth was not great before they got these two.
