Utah and Colorado are easily the 2 out for me in an ideal world but they're more realistic than Oregon or Washington. I'd expect the latter to follow suit and join the B1G and hope the B12 get's the other 4.

I find it difficult to believe the B10 is going to leave USC and UCLA on an island. Gotta believe Stanford, Cal, Oregon and Washington are in the mix

If all six of those were available, you'd add all six. If you could only add four, Utah and one of the Arizona schools would be left out so you could get all the different markets

Totally agree. But I will be surprised if Big10 expansion stops at 2 Pac12 teams. IMO the Big10 will expand to at least 20 teams with this move.

If academics a priority- then Stanford & California will be part of the move with USC & UCLA. Then its just a matter if the Big10 values Oregon & Washington. I could see the Big10 be aggressive to counter the SEC and go after:

Oregon
Colorado (SEC could make run at)
Kansas (SEC could make run at)

It makes a strong statement in bringing the top Pac12 teams on the west coast and then builds on the Husker add by bringing in CU & KU.


This ups the ante for the SEC. They'll try to make a play for Pac12 schools in AZ, CU and Utah schools and Big12 programs like OSU, KU, ISU, etc. IMO they'll want to get to 20-24 schools as well.
