Bordneros pizza is terrible. We used to get it at all our company events, and even when it is free it is terrible.

This is honestly the first time I have ever heard anyone say something bad about Bordenaro's... Interesting

You guys can also check us out on facebook. We will have alot of updates there as well as a logo contest (winner get's to know that they created a sweet logo).

Anyone remember Corso's by the old Valley Stadium on Grand? That was good. How about Bambi's? The old Italian guy that ran the place was a character. I used to squirt us with a fire extinguisher.

The name of the place was Bamie's, not Bambi's. The "old guy" was Frank. The Bonanno family. I used to restock the coolers on Saturday morning, and in exchange I got a small pizza, a soda, and a game of pool on Saturday night. Some of the best times of my life. On Friday night I'd bring in my girlfriend who was on the drill team - and thus wearing a short skirt - and Frank would come in in his fireman garb, and would spray her legs white with the CO2 fire extinguisher. Great times. Frank was amazing.

I've never tasted pizza better than that, and I've traveled quite a bit. But in my mind, his signature was the Stromboli. The best Itilian Sausage sandwich I ever ate.

I know it's personal to me, but I don't think I'll ever taste better pizza.

Hate to have my initial post be a grave digger, but I lived on the South side of DSM from 1980 to 1992 and loved Bamies. A very fun place. I have many great memories of Frank. And yes, the pizza was great. Orlandos was also very good.
