Whiskey mixers?

I'm definitely a beam guy, because I do not like beer.

Last night was rough, and I can usually only drink bourbon one night in a row straight, the second I usually have to mix.


What are some good things to mix whiskey with? I am not really talking mixed drinks with other types of alcohol because I dont really have the resources for that kind of thing.

I get sick of jb and cola all the time.

Some good mixes: 7-up, coke, or sugar and lemon juice(whiskey sour)

Sour mix. When done just right... its magic. Now sure what else. The hard stuff isnt too friendly to me. Hawaiian Punch, that goes with about anything.

Press with Dt. 7-up. Mostly water with a little dt. 7. Drinking a crown press as we speak, or type.

Actually, I agree with the Dr. Pepper, but with Crown, not Beam.

I can substitute BV for Crown when I'm in a pinch.

Crown is good. But too out of my price range You can get a 1.75 liter BV for bout 18 bucks.

I'm more of a Jim fan then a Jack fan ... I would hang out with my friend Jim more often but my wife says I'm mean when I hang out with him.

Jim Beam has to be black label, green maybe in a pinch, white - avoid at all costs.

I agree with the JD comment. That as well as any sraight tequila always makes me do stupid things.
