Weren't the Baylor fans looking to run Scott Drew out on a rail around the time they were losing to Iowa State at Hilton?
Non BSC conference, weak conference, recruiting class loss. They've built some good facilities, and had recent success, but I think that's more the coach than the institution. It's a tough act to follow.

You just quadrupled my interest level and THAT is being REALLY generous. I am almost as interested in how the basketball team is doing at the American University in Beirut as I am in Baylor.
Remember the saying you never want to follow the legend you want to be the person that follows the guy that followed the legend. That is what Arizona and Memphis are in
actually if Lute was the legend then Arizona should be in good shape. Maybe not long enough after the legend?
Funny I was thinking the same thing. Is there a coach in the conference that did less with more talent? I would never fear Baylor as long as Drew is coaching there. I can't believe Memphis even thought about him.
