Think its a little wierd no one has diante garrett on their list. Guy was a 4 year starter i believe and stayed through all the Mcdumb butt days and really excelled his senior year. Think he's underlooked because he was never on a good team

I'm a younger fan but I've been a cyclone ever since i was born. I don't remember much of the 1990's teams or anything of the 80's teams but i was wondering how some cyclone fans would rank Scotty from a list of the greats.

Lets say, since the 3pt ball has been part of the college game and only the players who played their senior year, who are your top 10?

Since Scott is a 3 year player himself, how do we all of the sudden eliminate players like Fizer and Brackins who played their whole career at ISU and left after Jr yr to go pro?

Since Scott is transfer himself I think we should allow all transfers on the list.

And comparing Scott to players like Hoiberg, Grayer, Hornacek, etc....???? Are you one of these guys the last year or so that have compared Jimmer Fredette and Ricky Rubio to Pete Maravich? Calling them things like a poor man's Pete Maravich? If so I have nothing to say.

Also a better question to know how you view current players to past players; Do you compare LeBron James to Michael Jordan or Dominique Wilkins? Your answer will tell me everything I need to know. Thanks

I'm as big of fan of all the players as anyone, but being part of a winner takes your legacy to a different level. It just does.

No one ever heard of Barry Stevens? Also would add the Rons. Virgil and Harris.

speaking of Brackins, did anyone see he was called up? was in today's paper

I went to a Timberwolves 76ers game a couple weeks ago. He wasn't dressed with the team, but he was shooting around before the game. Not sure what the details were behind it, I really wanted to see him play against Wesley Johnson though. Don't often get to go to a professional game and see 2 former cyclones playing against each other, if you consider Wesley Johnson to be a former cyclone.

For sure... and also, fair or not, while he was absolutely crucial to a lot of games, his 'last minute of half' often left something to be desired.

Ultimately it is still way too early to compare. Scott still has a chance to add to his legacy and all the other players we are placing him against are done playing.

How about we revisit this at a later date

My favorite Clones:

Paul Shirley
Scottie
Rahshon Clark
Stevie Johnson
Michael Nurse
Brackins

Edited to add: Brackins (even though he didn't stay his senior year). He was extremely nice, unlike the major ****** Jiri Hubalek. I used to have to send Jiri away from the Rec when he tried to get in (and wasn't on the list for Strength and Conditioning).
