We scored company tickets on about the 25-30 yardline, about halfway up on the lower level. Date was 10/12/2002. Score was 31-17. It's pretty easy to remember our first game, because THIS happened right in front of us:

We bought season tickets the following year, and renewed them through last season. Wish we still had them, but my back can't take the 3+ hours even with the permaseats. :(

9/23/95 vs UNLV. ISU 57 - UNLV 30. Troy Davis had 375 yards rushing and 5 TDs. The last year of that terrible turf!

I remember that game. Neither team got a first down until late in the 3rd. It sounded like we just scored a Td when we got that first down

Iowa State 20 - UCONN 37

It was the fall before I came to Iowa State.

1994 vs. Missouri. Lost 34-20. Picked a hell of a year to attend my first game. Attendance was 31,530 according to Wikipedia.

I believe it was 302 in 3 quarters, and then Norris came on and had 100 yards in the fourth. Would have loved to see what Davis put up if he could have stayed in.

Wasn't that Brent Curvey?

That's what I thought. Watching himself on the big screen as he ran. We had hillside and garbage was blowing all around on the hill still. Got to stadium not that long before game and it was evacuated, no one was taking money in the public lots.

I was a little disappointed late in the game when Dan took a couple of knees. The third string tailback was just short of also getting 100 yards. Thought it was a once in a lifetime moment for him and he deserved a shot. Hell, tell him if he breaks one to run out of bounds.

Just once more in my life I would like to see ISU just **** stomp someone, anyone, just once again.

November 19, 1988. We got blasted by Oklahoma State. I remember going into the game and my dad telling me to watch this #21 RB for them,
he's going to tear us apart...and he did.

Troy Davis first game of his sophomore year. We were gifted season tickets on the 40 from our neighbors for both his big years. God I loved those older folks.

Lost 31-21 to TCU

Gary Patterson's first game at TCU! He was the DC.
I remember this game vividly. It was a very hot day and I was at the game with my dad and uncle, both now deceased. TCU was coming off a 1-10 season, I believe, and a lot of fans were mad that we lost. I think TCU ended up going to a bowl that year, though.

Another interesting tidbit: The starting back for TCU was a fella named Basil Mitchell. He was backed up by a little-known player by the name of LaDainian Tomlinson.

Both Curvey and Paris had TDs in that game. Curvey took an INT to the South Endzone, Paris took a fumble to the Northeast corner.

Ok, I remember jumping and screaming and was pretty sure I shat myself and wasn't until I got to the car later that I realized I hadn't. Touch and go there for a few

October 21, 1995 vs. Colorado. Rick Nueheisel was coach, and Colorado was in the Top 10. I don't remember much other than Troy Davis was a monster, Iowa State made an awesome comeback before CU woke up, Neuheisel went for 2 late when the game was over and he said fans were throwing change at their bench.

I believe him as our crowd of about 20,000 that were still in the stadium were livid, and their players were taunting pretty aggressively. All in all, a fitting introduction to ISU football.

ISU 69, Colorado State 0

Not sure why this memory sticks, but I can still recall feeling the bass of Diana Ross' "Upside Down" blaring from loudspeakers that were on the sidelines during pregame warm-ups.
