vs Colorado 2007. Last home game of the season

ISU picked up 3rd win of the season under Chiz. Very strange end to the game. CU kicker made a FG but it was called back for delay of game at end of regulation. They got another shot, made it again, but they decided time had expired because they took too long to snap it

Big time 2nd half comeback...field got rushed. I gave Blythe a pat on the shoulder pad. Still think it's funny how the field got rushed for a 3 win season

Had to look it up for details..http://espn.go.com/ncf/recap?id=273140066

The first game I remember (but didn't attend) was the 92 victory over Nebraska. The reason I remember it is because I wore an ISU shirt to the mall in Omaha that day but was too young to actually know that there was a game. Adults kept giving me crap (not mean spirited) and on the drive home, the radio had the game on and we all sat outside of hyvee listening to the the last couple minutes. Then my mom cut out the front page of the big peach and hung it on my wall in my room the next day.

October 21, 1995 vs. Colorado. Rick Nueheisel was coach, and Colorado was in the Top 10. I don't remember much other than Troy Davis was a monster, Iowa State made an awesome comeback before CU woke up, Neuheisel went for 2 late when the game was over and he said fans were throwing change at their bench.

I believe him as our crowd of about 20,000 that were still in the stadium were livid, and their players were taunting pretty aggressively. All in all, a fitting introduction to ISU football.

I think this must have been mine, too, because I remember going to a game against Colorado in 5th grade, which would have been 1995, with a friend and his grandpa. I didn't care about football at that point, so I don't remember much, other than ISU had a lead that they gave up. The article says it was a blustery day, but I remember it being sunny.

First game I do remember watching in person, when I cared about football, was ISU 37, UNLV 22 in 2000. Lane Danielsen as a freshman recovered a blocked punt for a touchdown.

1992. It was a pretty cold day. I think I went to the KISS concert that night.

1986, OU, Cyclone Stadium. Finally score was bad, we got throttled. We waited by the Olsen Building and the Cy statue at half to watch the players come out. OU fans threw oranges, Bos had a multi-colored mohawk. It was raining that day, Dad and I went to a laundromat afterwards to dry our clothes.

We are different suffering Cyclone fans... unfortunately there are a lot of us out there.

I lived out in Storms (Towers)/Baker House (10th flr.) when I attended.

I don't remember I was pretty young. I do know they were 6-0 my first six games which was amazing since it was the walden years. They weren't all easy ones though it included the Nebraska upset.

September 20, 1997... Iowa @ ISU. L 63-20. Was technically still an Iowa fan, but kept my mouth shut as I sat with my friend in his parent's faculty seats (about row 5, midfield)

The first ISU football game I attended was in 1971 against Oklahoma State, which we won 54-0. It was 24-0 at the end of the first quarter.

I figured this is what ISU football is all about (blowout wins by ISU). I was just a little bit off in my expectations.

I grew up Hawkeye until I went to ISU, so my first game was with my parents my freshman year in 1992 vs Tulane. We won and it was parent's weekend, I believe.
