What's the most fun you've ever had at an ISU football game?

The reason I ask is because I absolutely love odd weather games like today. Only the diehards are in attendance. The crowds are always awesome.

Tornado Game from 2005 will probably always be my favorite Iowa State football game I attended. Just electric. Today, pregame was really cool though. Everybody was getting soaked but nobody seemed to care. All of the rain themed songs during the delay enhanced the atmosphere too. Well done by ISU.

We froze our butts off on the last home game against Okie State when Leslie O'Neil was their All-American defensive lineman. We won, and by the end of the game there couldn't have been more than 5K fans in the stadium it was so cold. They were ranked 7th if I remember right and we beat them. Got to shake his hand on the field after the game.

2nd would probably be a game in the student section my freshman year (82'). We used to "pass girls up" but the cops stopped us. A guy brought a blow up doll, we started chanting "pass her up" and the cops coming running but blushed when they saw it was a blow up doll. We yelled "throw her over" and they tossed her over the top of the stadium. Later the same poor cops were taking some drunks out and the entire student section chanted "Use your gun! Use your gun!" ...ah....the old days.

FYI this is a different Okie State game than the one mentioned above.

I said something like that today when the team was warming up after the delay. You can't change the weather, so embrace it and have fun. I was young, but I'll never forget the tornado game and it was electric. But that 2011 OK St. game my Freshman year on a warm Friday night in November just felt...different

Okie st mainly because I was on the field after the game for like an hour and you walk in to a game like that expecting it to be a lesson in cheering for your team even in humiliating defeat and then THAT happens.

vid or it didn't happen

It was right after he wadded up coaches “pledge” sheet to sign and threw it out with disdain and said “I’m not signing this”...and Donny thought that was cool but you knew he was just stoned and actually did care because it was senior year.

CW not even gonna get this reference. Lol.

Oklahoma State in 2011 is #1 for sure, hard to put anything above that. Unfortunately I haven't personally attended a great many ISU wins so I don't really have anything even close to challenge that. (looks like ISU is 3-4 in the measly 7 games I've been able to attend, I also saw them beat Baylor in 1997 and Kansas in 2004)

I loved playing in bad weather games, not as much fun watching in bad weather but get your drift. I remember skiing down the aisles in the stadium during a CU game where it was a blizzard.

The Iowa game where they came to town with Drew 'Knock by Block Off' Tate and he got cold cocked at mid field trying to tackle the guy who had just picked him off. Think they were ranked # 8 or something that year and Tate was supposed to be some football god. Even Heisman talk for him.We pretty well stuffed them like 23-3? Was sitting in the middle of many Hok fans and I can honestly say that I behaved in a manner that I would be completely embarrassed of today.

It's debatable for me - both happened in 2002, back-to-back weeks.

Nebraska - we beat the ever-living piss out of them at home

Texas Tech - the following week we beat up on them too. Significance - "The Run".

Unfortunately the train fell off the rails after these two weeks.

That crazy cold KU game a few years ago. We set up our tailgate, put up the walls, ran propane heaters all day, made several gallons of hot chocolate, and had a fun day of it.
2005 Colorado definitely up there.
And that CF bus trip to Kansas a few years back. What i remember of it.
