I dunno, I returned $160 extra dollars that an ATM gave me last summer... but $18,000 is a bit more.

My biggest beef with returning the $160 was the way the staff at the bank handled it when I returned it. If I had been inquiring about money that the ATM owed me, I would have had to write/sign an affident. But for returning money... nope, nothing.

I called before i went in... when I show up and tell the teller why I'm there the manager was like, "Get the money!" before anything else was even said. No "Thanks for returning this, can we have the money please?"

I mean come on I am going out of my freak'n way over my lunch hour to return it, and you tell the teller to get the money like I might walk out with it?????

Then as the teller and manager are sitting there looking at the money as I was leaving, the teller said "Man, I'd have kept it"

I was a bit pissed leaving there... again not because I just parted with money I could have used, but because of the way I was treated when I returned it :skeptical:

Its actually quite simple...I would take the 18,000 to the casino and over time turn it into 18,000,000...then I would pay Brackins to come back to school for 2 more years.

So let me get this straight. You think taking $10 from someone is wrong, but taking $100 is ok???

Yep, sounds like a Hawk fan to me...

No, I said I'd have given her back her 10-spot. She dropped a benjamin, so tough **** for her. Besides, I got my comeuppance the next morning, so everything evened out. She lost 100.00, I had to file an insurance claim.

How do you know where it came from? Maybe it was drug money? It would be tuff to not turn it in because I could really use 18 grand right now. My integrity would probably get the better of me.

If it makes you feel better, neither did I after I rammed my truck into the center divider on the freeway the next morning. Karma is a *****, and I got mine.

It mighta been the lady's grocery money.

Probably not, but just sayin'. It's kind of a golden rule thing...I'd want someone to return my money.
