Yeah, there’s zero reason Alabama should jump us. Guess we will see, but would make no sense.
They beat the number 8 team on the road, we lost to the number 28 team in the road. We beat number 9 at home, they lost to number 21 at home. I wouldn't say zero reason, they had the better win this week. I wouldn't be shocked to see them at 3 just because of recency bias.

My guess is 5. Time for both ISU teams to flush Morgantown from their minds and get back after it this week.
4th, mayyybe 3rd.

#5 Florida lost to Mizzou at home and #6 Tennessee lost to Vandy. #7 Marquette lost at home to Xavier.

#4 Alabama probably jumps us beating #8 on the road Saturday, but they had a home loss to Ole Miss Tuesday

I figured this team had built enough respect to soften the blow there. Would love to see them go on another winning streak to solidify that further.
Yeah wow, that’s awesome to stay at #3!

I know it doesn’t maybe “matter” in the grand scheme, but it sure makes me feel good to stay in the top 5 in the short term :D

Tennessee's next 4 games are :
Miss State
@ Auburn
Kentucky
Florida

They have had a soft schedule so far. It'll be fun to watch them over a tough 4 game stretch to see how legit they actually are.

LOL! That will be a steel brush clean out!

3 of those 4 at home?
Tennessee will go 2-2 at worst.

We should be 3 or 4 but they’ll hold this loss to WVU against us more than they will Florida losing at home to Mizzou or Tennessee losing at Vanderbilt.

This, of course, shouldn’t happen. WVU is a legit top 25 team and this is a road loss for us.

Bama jumping us will piss me off less. There is an argument that the win at Kentucky is more impressive than our win at home against KU.

Losing at home against fringe top 25 Ole Miss at home is probably equivalent to losing on the road to fringe top 25 WVU.
I don't think so. Morgantown is a really tough place to play.
