That's pretty cool. I don't know what I was expecting, but that wasn't it.

I wasn't sure what to expect but as soon as he started applying the water to the towel I realized the surface tension was going to play a big part.

For those into fluid mechanics and heat transfer, this is the case of

Bond Number (Bo) = (gravity forces) / (surface tension forces) = 0.

Being an astronaut must be one giant mind ****! Your mind has been trained it's entire existence, to expect things to behave in one manner..... only to have everything behave in a totally different manner when in zero g. That was pretty cool!

If it took me that long to unwrap and unfold a washcloth I would never wash my hands.

I would think they might have access to ear mounted bluetooth microphones. They are in a SPACE STATION for crying out loud, I would think that an upgrade in microphone technology wouldn't be out of the question.

Pretty cool video jbh. Showed my 3 year old daugther - mind blown!

One thing as I kid, I thought astronauts has messed up bodies because their blood didn't flow because there was no gravity. We hadn't learn about the heart yet lol

Also, that is amazing.

As a brain break, I showed this to my 5th grade summer school class today. I had them guess what was going to happen (one kid said it'll fall to the ground... which is why he's in summer school). Most of them guessed that it would fly out. Good stuff.
