Good first half. The sisters shot very well (52% FG%, 7-13 3PT) and out-rebounded MSU 19-15. Ashley is Ashley. Maddie has been huge off the bench. Just need to shoot the FT better in the second half. If Lexi could get going offensively, it'd be the icing on the cake.

The first-half combined 84 pts ties the second-highest score in the tournament. Iowa vs Central Michigan combined 85 pts in the first half. Texas A&M vs Troy combined 84 pts as well.

This is reminding me of a higher scoring version of the Michigan/Michigan State game. Michigan looked better but Sparty hung around and made it quite close but Michigan won. Watching I never really thought MSU would win even though the final margin was 4 points.
