Just watched the end of the OSU/Houston game on ESPN+. And they didn't immediately breakaway 30 seconds after the end of the game either, like I mentioned earlier that our home broadcasts just sign off at the games end. This time they interviewed the Houston coached and a player. Our games at both AU and ASU had post-game live courtside interviews with Crooks and Harris (opposing player as player-of-the-game). Our we the only Big 12 TV broadcaster that just signs off with no post-game?

Man gotta Love Cyclone fans. We win to get to 4-2 in league play, now tied for 4th and have won 3 in a row, playing better and now the sky is falling the streak ended. We took 7 all game, obviously not our game plan. Would have loved to see on go in but it did not, we scored 71 points, no three pointers in a non flow offensive game mucked up by Texas Tech. I'll take the win thank you.
We can all see though that this team is NOT playing good basketball. Lots of talent and time still to turn it around, but this is NOT good ball.

Texas Tech was never gonna let tonight be good basketball. We won an ugly game. Best 3 game stretch vs. Decent competition. So much Debbie downer right now.

I see the 3-point record as similar to the Cubs record of most consecutive games with at least one hit (1965 to 2015). I mean, it's not a bad thing getting a hit in every game. It's better than the alternative! But it's hard for me personally to get too excited any record that's just an unbroken string of events that individually have a 99+ percent chance of happening. As shown by the Cubs' mediocrity over those 50 years, records like that tend to involve as much dumb luck as skill.

When is the last time the men didn't hit one? Is that even a record schools keep?

if losing the streak was as bad as losing the game, I’d expect to see multiple post after every loss in the last 30 years about how it was sort of ok we lost since the streak lived on.

And the Cubs won the World Series the season after it ended. Just saying...

So…just chuck up shots for a streak that truly nobody really knows about besides Iowa state. Come on now, this game was ugly for the most part…we did what was needed to win. Get over the streak being done. Without looking, who has the next longest and how long???? Yea….nobody really cares!
I didn't even know we had a streak until last week LOL

Watching bristow and seeing she's only average 4.4 per game... I remember all the posters saying she was gonna flourish in another system.
I had forgot she transferred to TT to be honest and same with Fritz. Bristow probably would have got more minutes off our bench this year than she is getting at TT. Both her and Fritz probably would have been better off staying at ISU as neither have taken a step up with their production so far.

Bristow is only a sophomore and is still in a system that doesn’t fit her skill set. Bristow still has a high ceiling if she can get into a system that uses a slashing forward, which is why TTU was an odd choice for her.

Fritz was going to see the bench a lot with last years recruiting class and made a business decision that was probably the correct one.

Tiffany Byrd (blonde haired offical) has officiated at the Final Four.
they had a bad game in terms of keeping control of the game. It happens, we are all human and are not perfect. They did better the second half, but wbb officiating as a whole is sub-par. Not sure what the answer is for it either as I’m guessing it doesn’t pay a lot to entice a lot of people to want to do it.

I had just met my wife the last time ISU failed to hit at least one three pointer in a game. We now have three adult children, the oldest is graduating from Iowa State this spring.
