If we win I don't care about the streak.
We’ve only taken three treys so far. Very strange but it’s what tech is giving us. We’ve missed a ton of bunnies mainly due to uncalled fouls. Already missed four free throws. Tech has 11 turnovers. Our offense just went missing for long periods and Lordy…the fouls the refs gave to Tech…woof.
Can we stop about the fouls, that’s the women’s game now. We just need to play better!
We also need to have Crooks making her free throws. Some of those misses are like turnovers.
I agree we need to play better but it’s not asking too much to ask the game to be called at least consistently, if not evenly.
Twice now the blonde ref has been called over by the TTU coach, and twice now she has immediately blown the whistle and stopped play. No surprise that both times the call went against ISU.
Womens college basketball refs truly are the worst of all sports.
I'd also add that not calling fouls makes it a lot harder for us to "play better". We get hacked all the way down the court - that affects passing, affects handling. It affects the rhythm of our players. It's important to play through that, but I'm not surprised that an unevenly called game is affecting how our players are playing. It's not the only thing happening, but it affects the psyche and physical nature of the game in a lot more ways than just free throws or total fouls called.
Not sure when the last time was ISU WBB attempted only three three's in a half.
