Looks like through the first couple of games she is getting the least minutes on the team.
Hidalgo had a rough go today…1/11 from the field. Almost seems like they aren’t sure how to make the most of Crooks…giving their “shooters” more time and they are doing well.

USA 80, Colombia 43. Crooks 8 minutes, 6 points (2/3 fg), 2 rebounds.

One small clarification: Audi was 3 of 5 for the game. So far, 5 of 7 from the field. Hit a very nice jumper from the free throw line in this game. On one of her misses she got the rebound and an assist by throwing the ball out for a jumper.

Wow! According to the individual info linked to Audi on this site, she is now 7'-2" tall! She's grown 11" since last year!

While she did not play many minutes she looked smooth to me. Her second basket was a nice (about) 10' jump shot from the side of the basket that hit nothing but net.
With that kind of growth spurt, she should be really slimmed down, and shutting up her naysayers.

Kara Lawson's approach does not fit Audi very well - they full court press and try to get transition points. Also do not play a low post most of the time. Audi and Beers are mostly positioned at the FT line.

All-star team national teams are not likely to fit her well regardless of the coach. She's needs to have a team and scheme designed for and built around her. No USA team in international competition is going to have an Audi first scheme, too many all-star guards that need a center to screen, rebound, play defense and not clog the lane for them. Still, she's going to get minutes and it will be a fun experience for her.

Agree. I think Audi is a great player, but I was a little surprised that she was selected, just because she is best used in a scheme that focuses on her,

Checkout her profile—the young lady is very talented in many disciplines, plus being an outstanding and very confident spokesperson! ISU is very fortunate to have her on the WBB team and at ISU as a student.
"also participated in band and choir at Bishop Garrigan High School... plays five instruments: guitar, bass guitar, trumpet, drums and piano."

I’m trying to watch tonight’s game. No sound and doesn’t appear to be a place to click to turn it on and off. Also can't stream it from iPad to tv….just freezes up.

Just like game one, the starters seemed to not be able to score. The USA was behind in the first quarter, as I recall, when the second team came in and lighted the ship for a small lead. The "second team" started the second half when the USA opened up the lead that they never totally relinquished.

Was disappointing not to see Crooks not even have a chance to play when others were struggling.

If you watched the sideline she was the main cheerleader as her teammates played. Also have to say that TCU's acquisition was very impressive distributing the ball.

Saw some highlights on KCRG last night. Of coarse they were focused on Stuelke but it looked like Audi has shed some pounds and was running the floor much better than in the past.

I don't get why they aren't giving her more minutes.
