Hockey for sure. Not a ton of NHL, but I consider myself one of the biggest NCAA hockey fans.

Nascar - I can see all I need to see in 1 minute of sportscenter - the crashes. I don't waste 3 hours watching cars go around in a circle.

Soccer - a very very close second. I have really learned to appreciate the sport, and I'm not so sure that there is a better sports spectacle than the WC.

I think that most people who enjoy hockey also enjoy soccer. They are really two sports that you have to know a lot about in order to enjoy them. They are not typical American sports filled with non-stop scoring.

Hockey, it is the fastest most exciting sport in the world. Nothing but non stop action. Nascar would not be so bad if it were not 3 hours of NOTHING with a few 10 second crashes and 1 lap of racing at the end.

NASCAR was my pick. Growing up it was the very first thing that I remember my father and I enjoying together. We truly looked forward to every Sunday so we could spend time together watching races on TV. I was lucky enough to get to go to a NASCAR race in Las Vegas with him... that is still the most fun I have ever had in my life with some of the best memories ever.

Soccer. I love following the national team, a few of the European leagues, and some of the MLS.

Nascar...I zone out after 2 or 3 laps and start doing something else but I guess I pick up on who wins and the highlights are alright but there's no way I can devote three hours to a race without my eyes bleeding.

NHL...not a bad sport but I like it a lot more in person than on TV.

NBA...I follow it the second most of the four but again, don't spend too much time watching it on TV.

I'm confused. You listed 4 options in poll, asking which you follow the most. Then in your post, you ask which sport you follow the most. Adding that the activity had to be a sport clearly rules Nascar out.

I ended up answering your second question and picked the NBA from the 3 sports you had listed.

Wait, this poll doesn't make any sense. Why is Nascar grouped in with three sports? You might as well have asked: What's your favorite fruit? Bananas, blueberries, oranges, pigeons.

NASCAR. NBA is a close second from the options on the list however overall rank of pro sports would be NFL, NASCAR, MLB, PGA, NBA. The NBA may move up my personal list if Portland is watchable again after the draft.

Let's not argue the merits of what is or is not a sport. It has been done here as recently as three months ago and we all agree to disagree. When you start defining sports you get into areas that exclude many activities some of us consider sport while others do not. We are all quite polished in our debate skills since the summer has brought multiple religious and political threads. Which much like this debate essentially turn into...is not, is so, is not, is so is not, is so, is not, is so, is not, is so is not, is so, is not, is so, is not, is so is not, is so, is not, is so, is not, is so is not, is so, is not, is so, is not, is so is not, is so, is not, is so, is not, is so is not, is so, is not, is so, is not, is so is not, is so, is not, is so, is not, is so is not, is so, is not, is so, is not, is so is not, is so, is not, is so, is not, is so is not, is so, adnauseum

I'll be in Michigan for the race this weekend.... Just an honest opinion from a guy who used to dirt track race, people may not consider racing a sport but its the most intense ACTIVITY (if not sport) there is. You have to pay attention the whole time you are in that car. You don't get a time out. You don't get an end of period. You don't get a sub to come in for a quick minute. My longest race was an hour long endurance race. I have no clue how those guys can run 3 or 4 hours in the type of conditions they race in.

I tried bullriding before, but let me guess... Thats not a sport either?? Until you guys get off your lazy A..... and experience life, I wouldn't bash it too hard...

Oh yeah... Jr to Hendrick.. Hello Nextel Cup

Almost forgot... Go State..
