Post some funny/interesting things you heard from the fans (both Cyclone and Longhorn) from the loss on Saturday night.

I wasn't at the game, but I heard the Hawk fans at the local establishment cheer for Texas yelling Hawk-em Horns.

They aren't the smartest bunch in the world. If we lost to Texas 37-14, then what would Iowa lose to them by? Maybe 48-10 or something? Us losing does not make Iowa look better.

Heard a lot of people yelling at Jantz. I thought that was completely stupid and unwarranted. Where would this team be without him? 0-4

I'm going to call out myself. I went a little crazy on the refs after the blocked punt even though I knew in my head Texas must have made contact with the ball.

The dipstick know nothing Cyclone fans that yelled every time the offense paused to look over at the sidelines to get any play adjustments. Surprises me how clueless some fans are.

Yeah. Looking to the sidelines mostly has upside. Gives Herman more time to read the defense and re-call a play.

In some instances you will see defensive players jump when teams set and then stand to look to the sidelines. I imagine this can help them see where a blitz may be coming and give them an idea where the pressure is coming from.

Was it just me or did it seem like some of our guys saw the flag and kind of gave up on the play? Play til you hear the whistle! The lack of discipline was sickening. On the other hand the punt earlier in the game needed a flag I thought. There were 3 Texas players who hit Kirby after he kicked the ball.

this is correct... I heard someone say that the James White overtime touchdown was this... They saw blitz coming on the out side... and audible to the option..

I had a Texas fan tell me that it looked like a High School football game atmosphere last night. What high school team has 56,000+ in attendence?

Edit: This was right at kickoff

Actually thought there was one by our end zone in the 1st quarter in front of the student section. He made contact with the punter and wasn't even close to touching the ball.

I went crazy on the "horse collar" call on us and the lack of a horse collar call on Texas on the next drive. I was also amazed at some of the holding calls that were called on us but by that time I was in so much shock that I just sat there wondering WTH was happening.

In all fairness Texas high school football is crazy.
