only scored 52 pts. Geez, they looked horrible, just horrible. We shouldn't have lost to them. Man that sucks.

UNI losing this one doesn't stun me much.

So far, Northern Iowa has not fared well outside the state.

Then, after a big emotional win, has to travcel several time zones away — vs. a host team that probably can challenge UC Irvine for Big West title, entered game 7-1 (no notable wins, only loss at TT, which possibly doesn't suck this year).

Point-margin, though, I didn't see that coming.

Iowa State was their Super Bowl

It actually was, in this case. So was UNC. Next year Iowa will be their Super Bowl. It's simple human nature. These kids were overlooked by the big schools and when they play a big school it's ramped up.

Lol, UNI can **** off. Play all out against us and can't beat Hawaii. They aren't going to have the year some of you think they will.

If we come back to beat UNI I bet we would have lost to Cincy. We came out laser-focused. I'm good.

There's a reason Hawaii schedules their own game for last of the night. It's a definite advantage. And, it's obviously easier for UNI to get sky high for a game against a top five in-state rival than this. Natural let down game at a really, really odd time of day for Midwesterners.

My dad and I said the same thing. And if we had to choose which game to win, a road win over a ranked team > UNI in DM.

I agree, but UNI sure is doing a good job of making it a bad loss.

There is a lot a BB left to be played this season by all the teams. ISU lost by 2 to a team that shot the lights out that night, disappointing loss yes, bad loss not so much.

If UNI loses tonight against Wasington State, I'm gonna be on the it was a bad loss train. No doubt though that UNI played the best they will all year against us.

Agreed. UNI doesn't have great post play and they rely far too much on shooting 3's. When they have an off night shooting they get murdered because they have no inside game. They better win the Valley tournament otherwise they may not be dancing come March.
