I don't think Husker egos deflate. Anger increases, they scream for coaches heads, but the egos never deflate over there. Husker football is the only thing that state can even claim they have going for them, and they don't let that go easily.

I will even cheer for Wisconsin over Nebraska, and I really don't care for the Badgers, either.

In my humble opinion Nebbie is either gonna get a lot better in the big 10 or theyre gonna implode due to lack of recruiting comparable to Michigan/ Ohio State and Penn State...........

Really ISU fans? Please tell me this is a thread for some friendly ribbing of Nebraska and not an honest contemplation for the reason(s) Nebraska left the Big 12. Nebraska left because of money, stability and being tired of conference power shifting to Texas. For everyone giving Nebraska a hard time, there were a lot of people on this board trying to come up with ways for ISU to get a Big 10 invite. Would it be fair for other Big 12 team's fans to say ISU's poor record against the Big 12 South was the reason ISU left if they got a Big 10 invite? Of course not.

I have been neighbors to nebby all my life. Great summary. I could add about a page more and it still would not contain any "over the top" statements.
