Honestly, I think I would prefer Louisville to BYU as far as distance. It will be interesting to see who actually is a possibility.

I would love to add Louisville. Closer geographically. Great B-ball program in addition to a solid FB program. We would likely have more success against Louisville in FB, IMO.

Looking at this map, I would like to get back to 12 with Louisville, WVU, and Cincy. The conference would continue to be one of the best football conferences and would rival the ACC for the best basketball.

Peaks Division
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Mizzou
Iowa State
Louisville
Cincy

Plains Division
Texas
Texas Tech
Kansas
Kansas State
Baylor
West Virginia

Protected Rivals
Texas-Oklahoma
Texas Tech-Oklahoma State
Mizzou-Kansas
Iowa State-Kansas State
Louisville-Baylor
Cincy-West Virginia

Breaks up the divisions evenly and protects all major rivals.

You do realize that West Virginia is pretty much the closest school to any mountains, or "Peaks", right?
