August 10, 2006 Kirk Ferentz is named coach of the year for 2006 and given a new title…God. Iowa fans calling for his firing in 2001 are his most devoted worshipers.

The crystal football national championship trophy is delivered to Iowa City in anticipation of the most dominant collegiate football team ever. Even more dominant than the 7-5 2005 Hawkeyes, a team that will go down in history as the best 7-5 football team to ever play.

The Heisman Trophy committee contemplates changing the name of their trophy to the Drew Tate trophy. The committee almost changes their mind after hearing Marty say "Tate isn't even a top 5 quarterback in the Midwest…and it ain't even close." The nation wonders, "who is this wise man from Boston doing an Iowa radio show?"

September 3, 2006

Hawkeye nation basks in their triumph over highly rated Montana. Their 10-9 victory was the biggest blowout in Kinnick Stadium history. Hawkeye fans storm the field and parade the Sears Trophy around Iowa City after their first win in their national championship season.

September 9, 2006

Iowa comes rolling into the Carrier Dome knowing the outcome isn't going to be pretty. Iowa has Tate trophy candidate Drew Tate at the helm and a surprise addition to their team after Albert Young suffered a season-ending finger contusion. Iowa's surprise addition is none other than an all-rape tailback named Pierre (who got paroled on September 5). In an amazing triumph, Syracuse stops Pierre's penetration on their way to a historic 38-12 stomping on the soon-to-be national champions.

Syracuse comes rolling into town...

It'll be interesting to see Syracuse "rolling into town" being that game is at Syracuse and all...

Don't forget that all the hype about Brett Favre being the best quarterback to have played the game has mysteriously vanished and now any award having anything to do with QB's is replacing the name of the award as the Drewby Tate " " award. Everybody has always thought Tate was God's gift to us all and that he will still be the top QB choice of any NFL team when he turns the ripe young age of 75.

That is until he gets a hangnail and wants to postpone the Montana game a week so he can get pampered treatment by all who love and adore him. Then, in a fit of rage, after finding out the football gods won't postpone the game, he throws a tantrum, spikes the ball towards his all century O-Line giving his playbuddy and Center a pigskin enema killing him after it would not pass............
<

Then, after the sentencing, he gets put in the same jail cell as Pierre where unlike Syracuse in the original post, he is unable to stop Pierre's penetration and the dream season is over.........

Oooh, I can't wait to see how the rest of the season turns out for the soon to be National Champions. Don't keep us waiting! Maybe with a little luck, they can re-name the Sears trophy to the Herky Trophy before next season?

Try not to get so sensative CAI4State. You may find this amusing and all...yet not everyone will.

I see this as nothing but a post that continues the childish part of this rivalry.

I'm all about humor, but as Cyclone fans, don't we like to think of ourselves as the better fans?

Mayhaps we can act like it...

Last I checked, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I don't find this or stuff like it humorous, and I have one sick sense of humor.

So, perhaps you aught to "let loose" and be more acceptable of the opinions of others.

Keep this up and I'll time-share Nancy with you....your call for acceptance of others while pinching posters for their style of humor/spelling stylings is truly glorious and bombastic....you are epic and I am in love.

Hey man, you are the one who started ranting on the guy, not me. I never said you were not entitled to your own opinion. But at the same time, I am entitled to disagree with your opinions, and that is all I am doing. Im not looking to start an "online brawl" about this...so lets just leave it at that!

Was it really that childish of a post? The man is just trying to make others laugh...which from the sounds of it, minus yourself, he did. Im sorry for telling you to loosen up, didnt think you would take so much offense to the statement. I'll be the "grown up'' here and stop now.

Oh, I'm sorry monkey. Instead of trying to politely point something out, should I havd called the poster every name in the book?

You know, to conform to your way of posting...

Do not sink to my pedestrian level of thought. I honor you distinct style of politeness with an air of snobbery.

you are a true Jedi and I am your young Padwan in the realm of web-elitism.

Nancy shall soon be over to polish the knobs and baubles of your manhood.
