Really stressed about this Saturday's game. Luckily, I have deer season to distract me!

For me I think its
1. The undefeated thing seems to add more pressure each week
2. The UCF game was scary.
3. The injuries keep mounting.
Agree with all those things, however TT is just not good. They have the nations WORST pass defense. Iowa state wins this game going away imo. UCF also runs the ball much better than TT will and does

I feel like we got the C game out of our system and will be dialed in this week.

That said, I'm ALWAYS nervous.
Likewise, I'm always nervous or maybe anxious, about an upcoming game.

My questions about my #2, the UCF game.
A. Was that just a bad game by us?
B. Did we get exposed, are we vulnerable now that game tape is out there?

A is much more likely here

UCF looked dead and buried too. And they kind of balled out, their d line especially.

Same. I wonder why teams don't just run, run, run right at our rookie LB's....
I mean they are largely with Baylor as the exception. On the season opponents have run 193 passing plays against 237 rushing attempts. Take out the Baylor game and it’s 149 passes to 217 runs, basically 60% run. Compare that to normal run/pass ratios and that’s equivalent to like top 15 most run heavy offenses in the country.

So I’d say teams are running a ton at us. It just hasn’t been a winning formula and I still think UCF is a bit of an outlier with the three long runs accounting for ~55% of their total rushing yards.

I expect we’ll still be vulnerable on the ground, but the woes are bit exaggerated IMO. Teams are trying that game plan and it hasn’t worked yet. Damn near worked for UCF with a lot of help from us shooting ourselves in the foot however
