The only way ISU loses this game is turnovers. It was the only reason UCF was in last week's game. I expect an ISU victory by double digits.

UCF defense was worn out on that last drive. No blitzes/prevent defense saved us.
96-59 total plays. ISU
37:28 - 22:32 TOP. ISU
28-14 first downs. ISU
They had a 1 play scoring drive, a 0 play scoring drive, and a 1 play drive in 2Q . A 2 play scoring drive in 3Q, A 1 play scoring drive in 4Q. Their defense did not have much recovery time. ISU also ran a lot of tempo offense (playing catch up).
UCF defense was rope-a-doped.
We beat KSU in the snow game last year, on the opposite side of those stats.

My only concern is Rocco's accuracy. I wonder if it was injury/discomfort related the couple games he was off. Ball could be wet this Saturday as well. This seems like a game where WR's will be open all day. If Rocco misses on 2 or 3 would-be TD's again then this will be a close game.
I think it had more to do with game pressure and our reliance on him to make plays all over the field. He was pressing and sped up by their DL killing our OL on every play. Give him time, a run game, and a lead, and we will hit some over the top.

After 7 wins it's icing? So if we lose the remaining games, you're all good? That's insane.

All good? No but I'm not going to run around melting down about it.

5 losses would be weird but not the first time that sort of thing has happened.

With injuries and other teams getting some traction like KU something like 1-4 would be a bummer but wouldn't shock me.

10 wins needs to be the floor for this year at this point.
exactly, I am going to be disappointed not getting 1st or 2nd in the league, but didn't realize it was going to take 11-12 wins to make that game.
so the floor for me is 10 wins.

that being said I would be very disappointed if we lost 2-3 of these games below.
Home: TT, Cincy, K-State
Neutral Pro ISU: KU (crashing and burring but dangerous)
Away: Utah (who is failing)

It was a bad game. Not to concerned with Texas Tech as much as I am with the Kansas game. Rocco was off on some easy throws, receivers dropped some easy catches. Rocco's 2 pick sixes were the difference in the game. That is a game we loose 8/10 times. As long as we protect the ball and take points when we can (field goals) we can play with pretty much anyone.

Kansas on the bye this week. Extra prep & rest time. Super.
